Shaylea Silk washes beautifully but you need to follow instructions for best results.
Purchase non-biological washing liquid especially formulated for fine silks from major supermarkets.
If you handwash (and it really only takes minutes) just swish in coolish/lukewarm water, do not soak - rinse in cold. Do NOT wring out. Press between two towels and roll up. Then just hang up to dry. Never in sunlight. If you need to iron, inside out, while damp and delicate iron setting, cool.
Machine washing, Gentle Cycle, cool water in lingerie/sweater bag, no bleach with regular laundry if you wish. Use fluff cycle in dryer or hang to dry.
Dry Clean if you like but not necessary.
